
Dr. Ravita served six years as Assistant Superintendent at Bentworth School District. Prior to that, she worked for a total of 18 years at Parkway West Vocational/Technical School. Dr. Ravita earned a Bachelor's in Education at the University of Pittsburgh where she also received her M. Ed. in Vocational Education and Supervision. She earned her Ph.D. in Vocational Education and Educational Administration also at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Ravita has extensive professional training in curriculum and instruction, administrative supervision, Strategic Plan, technology and telecommunications planning, staff development, public relations, Federal Programs, budget preparation, the evaluation of student learning, as well as staff election. Dr. Ravita serves as an adjunct faculty member at Robert Morris University. She has also served in the same capacity at Pitt and as an evening administrator at CCAC.
