Scott Sundgren - Head Coach - High School & Middle School

Scott Sundgren is in his sixth year at South Fayette and is currently a third grade teacher. He is a 1993 graduate of North Hills High School, where he played volleyball and ran cross country. Scott is a graduate of Penn State University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and minor in Kinesiology. He was a member of the Penn State Cycling Team and the Triathlon Team. He participated in both club and intramural volleyball teams throughout his four years there. For the past three years, he has been the head coach of the girls' high school team. He was the assistant coach for the prior three years. Over the past six years he has been the head coach of the middle school girls' team. He feels the continuity of the coaching adds strength and stability to the program. Scott has coached for the Pittsburgh Elite Junior Olympic volleyball team. He was also the assistant coach for the Shaler Area Boys' volleyball team and a volunteer coach for Baldwin's girls' team.

Julianna Howe - High School Assistant

Julie is a graduate of Yough High School, where she was a starting player on both the volleyball and softball teams. She recently graduated from Slippery Rock University, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in physical education. While at Slippery Rock, Julie participated in club level volleyball. She has just completed her second year as the assistant girls' coach here at South Fayette. She is currently coaching for the Pittsburgh Elite Junior Olympic's developmental team and 16's team. This is her second year with the program. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and is dedicated to the team's development and success.

Jim Bohn - Middle School Assistant

Jim Bohn has been a teacher at South Fayette for over 25 years. He was the original coach of the volleyball team. He currently teaches physical education in the elementary school.
