South Fayette Administrative Team There are nine administrators directing school operations: a Superintendent; an Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment; Director of Pupil Personnel; Elementary, Middle and High School Principals; and a Director of Finance and Business Operations.
Mrs.
Ann Bisignani
Assistant to the Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
A
member of the South Fayette team since
1979, Mrs. Bisignani spent 18 years as
a classroom teacher, 1 year as an instructional
technology specialist and has been high
school principal for the past 5 years.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in
business education from Indiana University
of Pennsylvania, a certificate in Instructional
Technology from Carlow College and a Master’s
Degree from Carnegie Mellon University
with a specialization in Educational Leadership.
Mrs. Bisignani is also on the steering
committee for the Allegheny County Principal’s
Forum.
Mr. Skrbin joined the South Fayette team in October of 2005. Prior to South Fayette, Mr. Skrbin served as assistant high school principal at Chartiers Valley High School for one year, spent two years as an assistant middle school principal at both Woodland Hills West and Woodland Hills East Jr. High Schools, and served as a high school social studies teacher and department chairperson at Woodland Hills High School for five years. Mr. Skrbin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Duquesne University and a Master's Degree in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
As
Middle School Principal, Mrs. Labutta
has been a member of the South Fayette
team for the past 6 years. Prior to this
position, she was a classroom teacher
for 18 years, a principal for the Diocese
of Pittsburgh for 6 years and an assistant
principal for the West Jefferson Hills
School District in the elementary and
middle schools. Mrs. Labutta holds a Bachelor’s
Degree from Duquesne University and a
Master’s Degree and Principal’s
Certification from the Duquesne University
School of Education.
Mr. Abdulovic
has been a member of the South Fayette
Team since 1974. He began his career at
South Fayette as a 6th grade math teacher,
but has also spent time teaching science,
reading, social studies and robotics.
Mr. Abdulovic was named Assistant principal
in 2002, after several years as Dean of
Students for 4th and 5th grades. He holds
a Bachelor’s Degree from Slippery
Rock University, and Master’s Degree
from the University of Pittsburgh, as
well as a reading specialist certificate
and Elementary Principal’s Certificate
from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Gray has been
with the District since 2001. She started
her career at South Fayette as a third grade
teacher and spent the last three years as
a reading specialist. Prior to teaching
in South Fayette, Mrs. Gray taught in Missouri,
Altoona, and Johnstown. Mrs. Gray holds
a Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State
University. She obtained her Master’s
Degree in Reading and a Principal Certificate
from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
