As the South Fayette Board of School Directors continues to look closely at the District’s growth in student enrollment, a team from Eckles Architecture and Engineering is completing a feasibility study that examines the District’s educational needs and current campus space to help determine the best plan of action for the District to expand. In addition, Dr. Shelby Stewman, a demographer from Carnegie Mellon University, has been retained to thoroughly study the population growth, new housing starts and student enrollment to provide the Board of School Directors with accurate projections of future growth.
The following are the agenda topics for the upcoming Community Construction Committee Meetings. The meetings will take place in the Pride Room located in the Central Administration Building beginning at 6:00 PM.
Contact Ruth Bell (bell@southfayette.org) for additional information on the Community Construction Meetings.
At each month’s regular Board meeting, a team from Eckles provides an update for the Board and the public on the status of their research. At this time, the community also has the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions about their findings.
