NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS
Attention students who ordered letterman jackets: Your jackets are in and can be picked up in the athletic office.
Students are reminded that additional doses of immunization vaccinations are required for the 2008-09 school year. Letters regarding this information were sent home with students during class scheduling meetings held in the auditorium in April. All families also received a phone call via Global Connect. Please make sure to give the nurse any copies of immunizations that your parents have obtained from your physicians.
OLD ANNOUNCEMENTS
Reminder to all students: Monday is a 2-hour late start day. All high school students except for Parkway students will start 2 hours later and busses will follow a two 2 hour delay schedule. All parkway students will follow their normal schedules; refer to bus schedules sent to you this summer.
Attention all seniors: The PA Association of School Business Officials scholarship just arrived in the Guidance office. Please pick up a copy of the application on the table in front of the guidance office. The deadline for this scholarship is May 15th. Please don’t wait until the last minute! The completed application packet must be returned to the Guidance office by 2:00 pm May 15th. This scholarship is valued at $1000 each for first, second, and third place winners.
Attention all Sophomores and Juniors: If you are interested in learning more about Miami University of Ohio, representatives from the school will be in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, May 14th at 7:30 pm at the Ellis school in Shadyside. Please pick up a flyer at the desk outside of the Guidance office for more information. You must RSVP through their website.
Have you ever imagined you teachers at the prom? Can you imagine them being king or Queen? Now they will be! This week at lunch vote for your favorite male and female teacher to become faculty prom King and Queen.
Attention students looking for part time jobs: Bridgeville Home Depot is hiring! Please check the flyer on the board outside of Guidance or in Job Central inside the guidance office.
Attention to students interested in playing a fall sport: Official signups will begin on Wednesday, May 7 and end on June 5. The fall sport programs are as follows: Boys and girls soccer, girls volleyball, football, girls tennis, boys golf, and boys and girls cross country. Interested players must sign up in the athletic office and take a packet.
Are you interested in participating in an apprenticeship program for next year? Now is the time to apply! Information is available outside of Mrs. Quirk’s room.
Attention Seniors: Graduation announcements are in and can be picked up in the main office upon payment in full.
