Mr. Sundgren is beginning his seventh year here at South Fayette. He has taught second grade for the past five years. This is his second year in the third grade. He is also the coach of the High School and Middle School Girls' volleyball teams. Finally, he serves as the Assistant Webmaster for the district.

Mr. Sundgren has been married for the past five years and has a son named Erik and a daughter named Lexi. He resides in the North Hills.

He is also an avid runner having completed the Great Race for the past several years as well as the Pittsburgh Marathon. He is a Martial Arts instructor in the arts of Kali, Shooto, and Jeet Kune Do.
