It is a pleasure to welcome all new and returning students to another exciting year at South Fayette High School! This school year will highlight many avenues for you to learn and grow in the areas of academics, the arts, athletics, and activities. Our ultimate goal is to assist you and prepare you for a much larger world beyond high school, and we are committed to fostering an atmosphere of academic rigor, personal responsibility, and social interaction as you prepare to take advantage of the many opportunities that our school affords.

We all need to become "life-long learners" in order to survive and succeed in today's society. In order for us to successfully lay that foundation, it is essential that a cooperative partnership exist that encompasses the home, the school, and the community, all of whom are working in the best interest of children. In addition, everyone at South Fayette has a right to expect a pleasant, safe and well-organized environment. The emphasis should be on "doing the right thing," courtesy, consideration and responsibility. Everyone can contribute towards the goal of creating a great school!

We hope that you will become involved in the academic, social, athletic and extracurricular life at South Fayette High School. You can make a positive contribution, and you will find that being involved can make you feel good about yourself and your school.
