During the summer of 2025, South Fayette Township School District transitioned to
ParentSquare for all district communications.
This video shows you how to initiate your ParentSquare account (at 0:35) and all of its fantastic features.
ParentSquare is our district’s “one-stop shop” for communication with staff members, families, and student groups. ParentSquare handles all district communications, such as:
- Attendance notifications
- Classroom/school announcements & happenings
- Volunteer sign-ups
- Building/District newsletters
- Messaging to student-athletes and club members
- Conference scheduling
- Internal and External Distribution Group communications
Key benefits of ParentSquare include:
- Urgent alerts (e.g., weather delays, school closings) will be sent through ParentSquare.
- All users, staff members and caregivers, can choose how to receive messages:
- Email
- Phone calls and/or texts
- ParentSquare app notifications
- Messages are translated into the preferred language of each recipient.
Download the ParentSquare mobile app to send and receive school communications on the go.
To download ParentSquare, go to your mobile device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and search for "ParentSquare." The app is free and allows you to receive messages, event information, and files from your child's teacher, school, and the district. You can use the desktop version at www.parentsquare.com.
