Illness and Attendance Reminder

We are experiencing an earlier season of influenza, common colds, and other respiratory and gastrointestinal illnesses this school year.

  • Please remember that children should not attend school if they are feeling ill or have a temperature of 100 degrees or greater.
  • They should also remain at home until they are fever free for a minimum of 24 hours - without any medication to lower the fever, such as Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin (ibuprofen).
  • Students should also be free of vomiting episodes for a minimum of 24 hours.

These measures help to ensure that our children remain as healthy as possible during this upcoming winter season. Please contact School Nurse Traci Goforth with any questions at [email protected].
