Dear Fifth Grade Parents and Guardians,
We are thrilled to welcome back the 10th annual South Fayette Intermediate School Art Club! The art club is open to all fifth (5th) grade students who want to dig a bit deeper and explore the fascinating art world! There will be three separate sessions arranged as an after-school program for students in 5th grade to have the opportunity to explore their art skills at a whole new level.
This year we will be working on an Installation piece for the Music hallway. Ms. Sweet and Mrs. Giovannucci obtained an old piano that the students will be painting and designing to be transformed into a planter. Students will be working with paint, mosaic pieces and much more! The first session will be on January 23rd and January 30th. The second session will be on February 6th and February 13th. The third session be on March 6th and March 13th. Students will not need to acquire additional art supplies to participate. All projects will be completed in the art room at the Intermediate School. Your child may sign up for any of the three sessions that best fit their schedule (by January 12).
The art club will meet at 3:25-4:30 on Monday's after school. The students will need to be picked up promptly at 4:30 in the front lobby. Your child will need to be signed out before leaving the building.
Meeting dates:
Session 1: January 23rd and January 30th
Session 2: February 6th and February 13th
Session 3: March 6th and March 13th
Your child will not want to miss this! We are so excited to have students take part in a creative experience with the 10th Annual Art Club at the South Fayette Intermediate School!
