Vote for SFIC4 Video in STEM Showcase

Since 2017, we have been proud to work with students at South Fayette who have participated in IC4. IC4 stands for the International Community for Collaborative Content Creation. Featuring students who collaborate with one another from sixteen sites across the US, Kenya, Finland, Namibia, Mexico Brazil, Iran, and India, the IC4 project explores the intersection of learning, culture, and collaboration. Supported by NSF’s AISL Program, the project provides an international, collaborative, and digital makerspace that seeks to understand how student learning changes when collaborating teams identify themselves as teachers seeking to help peers understand STEM topics.

Each year, IC4 participates in the NSF STEM for All Video Showcase, where organizations share the successes of their STEM programs in a week-long video exhibition. I am asking for your support.  Could you take a moment to view our video entitled, "International Community for Collaborative Content Creation" at this website: http://videohall.com/p/1986?   I would also like to encourage you to vote for the video if you are willing to do so. If possible, could you also make comments or pose questions in the discussion thread.  There are STEM education projects from around the US that are supported by NSF and other agencies, and we encourage you to view these and comment on them also (https://stemforall2021.videohall.com/).  The IC4 presenters are looking for as much international participation as possible, so if you have colleagues anywhere who might be interested in the initiative, please share our video with them.

Thank you,
Shad Wachter and AJ Mannarino
