Face Coverings Still Required
Face Coverings Still Required
As part of the ongoing efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we remind you that face coverings are required as indicated in the state’s Face Covering Mandate (Updated 11/17/2020). Face coverings are required to be worn inside AND outside if people are less than six feet apart. To this extent, please ensure that your child wears a face covering while waiting at the bus stop in the morning.
The CDC has identified the following steps that should be followed to wear a mask correctly:
Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before putting on your mask.
Put the mask over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin.
Fit the mask snugly against the sides of your face, slipping the loops over your ears or tying the strings behind your head.
If you have to continually adjust your mask, it doesn’t fit properly, and you might need to find a different mask type or brand.
Make sure you can breathe easily.
Additional considerations for wearing masks can be found on the CDC website: How to Wear Masks
