Dear Parents/Guardians of High School Juniors and Seniors:
The start of the 2021-2022 school year is rapidly approaching. It is time for the juniors and seniors who wish to drive to school to obtain their annual parking permit. Student parking at the High School is in the front parking lot (second row), Fine Arts lot (first four rows) and Stadium lot. Students may only park in these locations. Student parking is on a first come/first served basis. Once these designated spaces have been sold, there will be no additional spots available.
Student drivers will receive a parking tag for their vehicle, which must be displayed on the rearview mirror at all times while on campus. Student driving privileges are extended to junior and senior drivers only. The cost of the driving permit is $50.00 for a full year and $25.00 for a semester. Full payment must be received in order to obtain a parking permit. This fee will cover the cost of the parking tags with any remaining monies to be used to support student activities at the High School.
During the 2021-2022 school year, the parking permit application process will be submitted in two steps:

Each parent/guardian must enter their valid email address which will serve as a parent signature to validate the application. The application should NOT be completed by the student. All required questions must be answered, and student's valid driver’s license, insurance, and registration MUST be uploaded in this Google form where specified.
Applications MUST be completed online using the Google form prior to coming into school on the dates listed below. Submission of the parking permit application does not guarantee a parking permit. Please note that parking permits will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis in person on the dates listed below. The paperwork portion is simply being moved online via a Google form to help expedite and streamline the process.
SENIORS ONLY - Monday, Aug. 16 - 7:30 am to 3:15 pm
JUNIOR AND SENIORS - Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 17 and 18 - 7:30 am - 3:15 pm
The Student/Visitor Center has been temporarily relocated to the Innovation Hub Entrance of the High School. Cash or check (payable to South Fayette High School) must be submitted during the in-person dates and times specified above. At this time, students will be assigned a parking spot number and a parking tag will be issued. This procedure also applies to Parkway West students.
The following conditions must be adhered to in order for students to retain their parking passes:
Students may only park in the designated student parking areas (front parking lot (second row), Fine Arts lot (first four rows) and stadium lot). Students may not park in the visitor or faculty/staff parking areas.
All student parking spaces are numbered. The space number corresponds to the number on the parking tag. Students must park in their designated space.
Students must have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license at the time of registration. Parking permits will not be reserved for those with a learner’s permit.
Parking permits are issued numerically. Students may not request a specific space. Students may not “swap” parking permits. Students must obtain their own parking permit.
All student driving regulations on the parking permit application and in the Student-Parent Handbook MUST be followed. Failure to do so will result in revocation of parking privileges. Permit fees are NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason.
Students are expected to be in their first period class by 7:20 a.m. Allow extra time to obey speed limits and walk from your designated space. Excessive “tardies” will result in loss of parking privileges. Please pay particular attention to items #10 and #11 under the Student Parking Rules and Regulation on the electronic application.
