RE: UPDATE – Satellite Meal Distribution Sites Added for Asynchronous Days
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The USDA has extended free meals through June 2021 for all students regardless of learning in the brick and mortar setting or learning remotely. The District will continue to offer the meals “to go” at our Athletic Stadium concession stand located on campus between the hours of 10:30AM and 12:15PM on regularly scheduled school days.
Additional Sites:
On the following Wednesdays (asynchronous days) only – November 11, November 18, December 2, December 9, December 16, January 6, January 13, and January 20 – there will be two additional satellite sites to serve breakfast and lunches “to go” between the hours of 11:00AM – 1:00PM. Look for our big yellow bus.
? Fairview Fire Hall (rear of the building)
? Morgan Park (near the tennis courts)
Parents that usually pick-up at the Athletic Stadium concession stand may continue to pick up from the stadium or at one of the satellite sites if it is closer to your residence. We will continue to update you with new information as we receive it.
Election Day:
For Tuesday, November 3 – Free Meals to our community children under the age of 18 will be provided at the following locations:
? Athletic Stadium from 10:30AM – 12:15PM
? Fairview Fire Hall (front of building – do not block the doors) from 11:00AM – 1:00PM
? Morgan Park (near the tennis courts) from 11:00AM – 1:00PM
Parents should arrive at the site and notify the staff as to the number of students/siblings needing meals. The USDA has asked that you only pick up for your children and only visit one site. There is no need for reservations. Each child will receive a full breakfast and full lunch for the day.
