The South Fayette Township School District re-established its Communications Department in late-December 2022. A significant portion of the South Fayette Township School District’s 2022-2025 strategic plan is devoted to fostering connections between the district and our learners, families, staff, and community. As we prepared our strategic plan, we heard similar messages in our conversations with all of our key groups – you desire, and rightfully deserve, timely, reliable, effective, and transparent communication from the South Fayette Township School District.
To enhance communications with students and families, the district has increased its presence on social media and distributes newsletters to all district families. In the summer of 2025, the district incorporated ParentSquare as it's "one-stop-shop" for communication with staff members, families, and student groups. The communications department is continually building upon the foundation that has been laid for a robust, comprehensive plan that will connect you with and celebrate the amazing stories from the South Fayette Township School District.
