World Mental Health Day is actually on October 10th, but South Fayette High School will be celebrating it on Tuesday, October 12th.  We are celebrating to bring awareness to mental health/ illness in general because it has a major effect on people's lives. We would like everyone to advocate and encourage people to talk about health and mental wellness.  

On October 12th, during lunch, students will see brochures that have our counselors' information on it, why we are celebrating, and an app called "I am" that will notify you of positive affirmations to promote positive thinking. Our hope is to bring attention to mental health and mental wellness up here at the high school.  

Please see the brochure that we will be placing on each one of the students' tables during lunch.
