Join Our 5th Grade Robotics Club
Dear 5th Grade Parents/Guardians:
I am excited to announce that the 5th Grade Robotics Club (formerly Mindstorm Robotics Club) will continue at the Intermediate School this year! In this club, students will work in small groups to build LEGO Spike robots. They will be engineering the robot to complete builds and challenges from the LEGO Spike Robot app. This club will be a fun way for students to develop skills in robot design, engineering, building, programming, debugging and more!
Robotics Club is only open to 5th grade students at the Intermediate School. The club will meet in the SPACE STEAM Lab on Tuesdays & Thursdays before school at 7:45 AM throughout the month of March. Please note that I can only accommodate up to 24 students in Robotics Club at a time due to the number of robots available. Therefore, depending upon enrollment, students will be able to participate in 5 or 10 sessions. If 24 or less students sign up, they will participate in 10 sessions. If 25 or more sign up, they will participate in 5 sessions. If more than 48 sign up, registration will be based on a lottery system with student representatives randomly selected from each 5th grade homeroom.

All interest forms must be submitted by Sunday, February 19 at 1:00 PM. A confirmation email will be sent by Tuesday, February 21.
