The South Fayette Township School District Board of Directors approved a plan for careful progression toward full, in-person instruction. The approved plan includes the choice for families of a Four-Day In-Person Transition Model OR the SF Cyber Academy. In order to move forward with preparations for this transition, all families need to complete an enrollment form for each child enrolled in the Middle School.

Please  complete the enrollment form for the Middle School by October 23, 2020 to indicate your preference for schooling for the secondary transition beginning on December 1, 2020. If a child does not have a completed form for this transition, the District will keep those students in the model most similar to the placement as the first nine weeks. Changes will not be accommodated after October 23rd.

The approved plan includes the choice for families of a Four-Day In-Person Transition Model OR the SF Cyber Academy. In the new Four-Day In-Person Transition Model, K-12 students will attend school in person four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) with an asynchronous learning day on Wednesday. In the SF Cyber Academy, students will attend live classes as they currently do (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) with an asynchronous learning day on Wednesday. Those students currently attending five days will follow the Four-Day, In-Person Model schedule. Additionally, we will also ask you to make a transportation choice for your selection.

The District will continue to follow the approved Health and Safety Plan that requires face coverings per the state order and calls for physical distancing to the extent possible. In the new Four-Day, In-Person Instruction Model, the District cannot maintain six feet of distance in all classrooms, hallways, lockers, or buses. The District will be able to maintain six feet during lunches.
