Hello Parents/Guardians and Students,
I wanted to check in to see how close everyone is getting to their Read-a-Thon goals. I hope you have had a great start! Don’t forget to reach out to family and friends to sponsor you toward those reading goals! We only have 2 weeks left. If you haven’t started, it’s not too late! See the attached flyer to sign up or donate today on the South Fayette PTA website. The Read-a-Thon ends March 1st.
I suggest asking for a small flat donation so you won’t have to go back to collect money at the conclusion of the Read-a-Thon. A target of $50 total is a suggested fundraising goal but more or less is greatly appreciated. Remember, you can earn individual prizes! All money raised goes toward PTA events such as Family Reading Night, Track and Field Day, classroom parties, field trips and much more!
I hope everyone is filling out the Google form found on the PTA website for every 30 minutes they read. The Google form will close this Friday and the PTA will randomly draw names to win a $10 Barnes and Noble gift card. Additionally, at the end of the event, the top three fundraisers in each grade will win a gift card to Barnes and Noble. First place will win a $50 gift card, second place a $25 gift card and third place a $10 gift card! The student in each school that raises the most donations will receive a grand prize!
The Read-a-Thon ends Monday, March 1. Please send any checks made payable to SFPTA to the school office no later than Monday, March 1.
