Power School Parent/Student Portal

The PowerSchool Student/Parent Portal gives parents and students access to view grades, assignments, scores, attendance, and student schedules. Parents have the ability to link one or more children (up to seven), to their PowerSchool parent account.  

If you are new to the district and accessed PowerSchool during the Enrollment process, your account is created and your child(ren)'s account(s) is already linked to your parent account. If you are not new to the district and have not created an account, you will need to create an account. To create your parent account, you will need your parent Access ID and password. A copy of your parent Access ID/password can be obtained by emailing the appropriate building contacts:

You can request that your PowerSchool Parent Portal Access information be mailed to your home address or you may pick it up in the Main Office.

In addition to parent access, students in grades 5-12 can also access the PowerSchool Student/Parent Portal with their designated student Access ID and password.  The student log-in cannot be changed and is used by students in grades 8-12 for scheduling purposes.  Students in grades 5-12 should access their account information by using their own student Access ID and password. Sharing the parent username/password with a student is not recommended. If a student can access the parent account, they are then able to change the parent account preferences including your username, password, email preferences, etc.

PowerSchool also offers a Parent App. Once you have created an account, you can then download the app and log in with your username/password and the district code, LSTJ.
