South Fayette Elementary School is
committed to educating the whole child in a safe and nurturing environment. We
lay the foundation for learning and focus on teaching students to read and
develop a strong understanding of developmental math concepts. Additionally,
STEAM concepts are integrated into student learning in both the Learning Lab
and regular classroom where students can enhance their skills of communication,
collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. We promote UPMC’s Dignity and
Respect Program throughout the building with the goal of everyone in the
building treating each other with kindness. We want all of our families to feel
they are a valued member of the school, and for our parents to be an active
member of their child’s educational team to ensure the success of every
student.
