2-Hour Delay w/ Modified Kindergarten

For Wednesday, April 30, 2025, the South Fayette Township School District will be operating on a Two-Hour Delay with Modified Kindergarten due to a power outage on campus and area road closures. Faculty and staff are to report on the delay time.

PSSA Testing will be postponed. No PSSA Testing on Wednesday, April 30.

Transportation/Maintenance

Project Scope

With the new Elementary School being built in the location of the current bus and maintenance depot, it is necessary to move its location and update the facility. Plans are underway to relocate this facility across from the Middle School, on the former Dimun property. The new bus and maintenance depot will house offices for these departments as well as the bus garages for the maintenance of our bus fleet. When not in use, all district buses will be parked at this location.

Project Purpose

An up-to-date bus and maintenance depot is essential to support the operations of our transportation and facilities departments, and with the selected location for the new Elementary School, it is necessary to construct a new depot at a different setting. This new facility will enhance the efficiency of our transportation services and ensure the proper maintenance of our facilities.
