Welcome to the Library

Students in grades 6-8 are eligible to borrow books from the library using their student ID number. Students do NOT need to wait until their scheduled library class to check out or return books; students can visit the library before and after school or during activity period to borrow or return library materials.

Library Policies

Circulation

Students may check out a maximum of four (4) library books.
Library books are checked out for a period of about three (3) weeks.
It is the students responsibility to return books to the library on time.
Most reference materials may not be checked out.

Lost or Damaged Materials
Sometimes accidents happen. If a book is lost or damaged while circulating, the student who borrowed the book must pay for the cost of replacing the book. The librarian has information about book costs and processing fees. All books must be returned and fees paid before the end of each school year.
